Wilds of Eldraine is the next set to release for Magic: The Gathering, and with it comes the Magic: The Gathering Arena release. Arena will let you play around with cards from the set and figure out exactly what works in your deck by playing against people online, meaning that if you can't afford the physical card game you'll still be able to enjoy the title. And if you can afford it, then that means you can test what cards you think work in your deck before you commit to trying to get your hands on them.

When will Magic: The Gathering Arena add Wilds of Eldraine?

Usually, new sets go online shortly after a maintenance period in which Wizards Of The Coast can update the game and add the new cards. The next maintenance period is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th at the following times:

  • 8:00 AM PT
  • 11:00 AM EST
  • 16:00 PM BST
  • 15:00 UCT

This period is scheduled to take roughly three hours, and assuming that it takes the full amount of time then you can expect to be playing with the new cards on the same day as the maintenance period. Depending on your timezone, this is what the Wilds of Eldraine release times are looking like:

  • 11:00 AM PT
  • 14:00 PM ET
  • 19:00 PM BST
  • 20:00 PM CEST
  • 3:30 AM ACST (September 6th)

The official Wizards of the Coast Customer Support Twitter page will update when the actual maintenance both starts and ends, so you'll know when you'll be able to log into the game and get new cards.
